Artificial Sweeteners

Sweetener Carbs Baking? notes
Saccharin (Sweet'nLow) Powdered .9g/g carbs (as dextrose) so instead use:

Liquid is 0-carbs [1] concentrated [2] Use 1/8 of called for sugar, (10 drops = 1 teaspoon sugar)
Concentrated [3] 1 drop = 1.5 teaspoons

Yes Worries about cancer are unfounded (Sugar is known to increase cancer risk) Probably the safest AS(Artificial Sweetener) Available.
Sucralose(Splenda) Granular 1 tsp = 0.5g carbs (as dextrose)

Packet = .9g carb(as dextrose) so instead use:
Liquid is zero carbs [4]

Yes Short track record - not around as long as Saccharin. Saccharin has been well researched (the sugar companies tried to find something wrong with it) and found quite safe - obviously safer than sugar..
